Black Hawk Down Blu-ray Quality Not As Expected

Black Hawk Down indeed a very good movie, but the Blu-ray version really disappointed me in terms of video and audio quality. I don’t expect much from it. Video quality are not that clear and dots can be clearly seen from 6 feets away from my LCD TV!

As for audio, Dolby Digital 5.1 turns me down, you’ll be missing a lot of sound effects, you know… gaps in between the sound and visual effects. The LPCM 5.1 uncompressed audio doesn’t do any good for my ears as well. Just wondering why not encoded it with DTS MA or Dolby True HD. I would rather get this BHD in DVD version.

Sometimes words on the cover really misleading, Best Picture, Best Sound, 6x The Resolution of DVD. Gosh! Bought this on Amazon US for the price of USD $17.49, not a recommended Blu-ray movie. I suggest you stick to DVD for Black Hawk Down.
